This Week from Costa Rica...

We've just completed a great week of language learning, surviving in Costa Rica and ministry. We are getting adjusted to the pace of being a language student which simply means the headaches are not quite as severe as they were. Jeff is actually able to remember his name until around Noon each day instead of having a brain breakdown around 10 am. That is progress.

Haylee and Jackson continue to have some fun even though we miss Mississippi friends and family. Slumber Party 1 was this weekend with Haylee inviting two friends and Jackson inviting a friend...so it was 7 of us in about 850 square feet on Friday night. FUN! It really was fun and YOUR PRAYERS are being answered as Haylee and Jackson make friends.

On Saturday Jeff joined a team of folks going door to door in a nearby neighborhood doing some visitation for a local church here. He met some good folks and was able to share a part of the plan of salvation with a teenager but fortunately the student was already a Christian. It was good to be doing something useful. Thank you for praying for opportunities to do ministry. Liesa has made a friend with a mom of one of Haylee's friends...pray for that relationship to grow.

This week at language school Jeff has several tests so please be in prayer for those...Tuesday at 11 am and Friday at 8:20 am.

Liesa and Jeff are leading one of the worship teams for our chapel services...please pray for all of that to come together!

Liesa and Jeff are also leading a VBS for the children of the missionaries during the second week of March. Thanks for FBC Oxford for providing the literature. Please pray for the preparation for this important time.

We need to sell our car back in Mississippi....keep praying for a buyer.

Lift up my friend Brandon Lewis who is the student minister at First Baptist Oxford. Please continue to pray for God's protection on his family and for wisdom as he leads a wonderful group of students and parents.

Your prayers are so appreciated and they are answered each day. Thank you so much for your support of us through your prayers, your giving to the Cooperative Program and the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, and your emails and phone calls.

By the way...you can call us direct at 601-914-6705! It's a Mississippi number and not an international call for you.

We have a couple of parks in our neighborhood. Here are some monkeys we found..
