Climbing to the Crosses...

We took advantage of a beautiful Saturday here in Costa Rica to climb one of the mountains overlooking San José. We had a great but tiring day. Liesa and I are stiff and moving slowly but the climb was well worth it. We climbed up to an elevation of about 7,000 feet. San José has an elevation of around 3500 feet...so we are tired! Here are some photos...

This is the view of San José from up above. In the background is the Irazú volcano.

My big brother John McLamb and me. In the background is the cross that you can see from all around our city.

We had a great day and we look forward to getting to see more of Costa Rica in the future.

Until later..........
